• The resort opened in 1989. It has 744 Guest rooms and suites. A nice array of food and beverage options are available including three full service restaurants, a lounge with live entertainment, a coffee shop/market, two pool/beach bars, and room service. It has large meeting and convention facilities. There is a large and inviting beachside pool deck . The resort also has an excellent fitness facility and a huge lobby with lots of open seating. A variety of water activities are also available.

• The hotel was originally the Marriott Daytona Beach

• It originally had over 400 guest rooms and suites. A new tower and cabana units were later added bringing the total guest units to 744.
